Deer Valley Lodge is a full-service, family oriented vacation getaway situated in the rolling hills of south-central Wisconsin, only 10 minutes west of Mount Horeb and 15 minutes east of Dodgeville on U.S. Highway 18/151.

The lodge offers 62 inviting rooms–including whirlpool suites, balcony suites and family bunk-bed suites.

All guests receive indoor water park passes, continental breakfast, and wireless Internet. Their custom designed hand-made furniture, themed suites, antler sconces and trim, are just a few of the many things that make Deer Valley Lodge a unique get-away. The 5,000 square foot banquet hall accommodates approximately 350-400 people.

Deer Valley Lodge also has 2,500 square feet of private meeting space including a large divisible meeting room, and an executive Boardroom with fireplace, TV, and private restroom. Their on-site kitchen can cater to your special needs with a buffet style meal, a formal sit down affair or an hors d’ oeuvres spread. The banquet facility consists of a full service bar area and a dance floor for entertainment needs.

Step out onto the patio and enjoy the view of the beautiful Deer Valley Golf Course and the rolling hills of southern Wisconsin. The indoor water park is approximately 12,000 square feet in size; the largest within one hour of Madison, WI. There is fun for children and adults of all ages with 2 tower slides, a zero depth kiddie pool with a little slide, an activity pool, play equipment, basketball hoops, fountains, dump buckets, and a super sized Jacuzzi whirlpool.

Kids can play day and night in the Deer Valley Lodge Game Room located inside the water park. Cool off with something from the concession stand or try a homemade pizza.

Only a 7-iron from the lodge is the 18-hole Championship golf course. The blend of links style golf, rolling terrain, and exciting elevation changes give golfers a chance to use every club and shot in their bag. From the par 3 fifth-hole with nearly a 100ft drop over 100 yards, to the par 5 13th that was featured on the cover of the Wisconsin State Journal’s 2000 Golf Guide, Deer Valley gives golfers a breathtaking ride they won’t soon forget. There are 5 sets of tees for players of all abilities. It is also home to a rare butterfly, the Regal Fritillary.

Deer Valley also boasts some of the Wisconsin’s purest natural prairies, not to mention deer, wild turkeys, coyotes, red-tailed hawks, and numerous other species. After your round, have a seat on our wraparound deck and enjoy a cold beverage, friendly service, and the incredible view.
