Tucked away in the beautiful rolling hills of Spring Green, Global View is an incomparable collection of exquisite, handcrafted items from India, Indonesia and Nepal. Every item in the shop has been personally selected by owner Marion Nelson and her staff on their yearly journeys.
The experience at Global View may seem to be about fine ceremonial textiles, furniture, carpets, pottery, carvings, rare antiques, and clothing. But Global View is really about connecting people and cultures. Most items are hand-crafted by talented artisans that have become Marion’s dear friends over the years she has traveled.
You are invited to join them on their journeys to South Asia, to experience firsthand the culture and artisans from which these art forms have developed. Marion has been leading tours since the1980’s. Each year there are journeys planned to India and Indonesia, including visits to Tibetan settlements and participation in Buddhist teachings.
