Wilson Creek Pottery was established in rural Spring Green, Wisconsin in 1973. Artist, Peggy Ahlgren specializes in functional stoneware. She creates a large variety of dishes and items for the kitchen and home. Everything is oven, dishwasher and microwave safe. Selections include sets of dishes, pie plates, platters, soufflé dishes, casseroles, mixing bowls, garlic keepers, butter keepers, butter dishes, honey jars, berry strainers, mugs, spoon rests, vases, planters, hanging planters, humming bird feeders, lamps, cream and sugar sets, salt and pepper shakers, sets of canisters, wine goblets, chip and dip plates, cheese servers, trivets, bowls, mushroom keepers, soap dispensers, pin cushions, and lots of other useful pieces. As with all stoneware, the pieces contain no lead. Stop by and see for yourself. Open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. most days, but best to call ahead and make sure.
